Does LeafLedger submit my reports?
No. LeafLedger prepares and validates supported report drafts. The customer reviews the results and remains responsible for filing, signatures, and any required officer certification.
Is this a managed filing service?
No. LeafLedger is software customers operate themselves, using their recurring business records. It is not a consulting or outsourced filing service.
What happens when information is missing?
The engine flags missing or inconsistent information for review. It does not guess product classes, transaction types, tax amounts, permit identities, or unit conversions. An explicit zero-activity declaration is treated differently from missing data.
Does my reporting data leave my computer?
No. LeafLedger processes your records and prepares drafts locally; nothing is uploaded as part of preparing a month. The app makes one small call about every six hours — sending only your license key — to confirm your subscription is active. If you're offline, it keeps working for a week on the last confirmation, and your archived months stay readable regardless.
